The Center for Digital Inclusion (CDI) is a research center that strives to foster inclusive and sustainable societies through research, teaching, and public engagement about information and communication technologies (ICT). CDI serves a broad cross-section of people in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, inviting multiple perspectives to inform the Center's work, including areas such as information in society, history, youth services, and sociotechnical data analytics.
Digital inclusion encompasses not only access to the Internet but also the availability of hardware and software; relevant content and services; and training for the digital literacy skills required for effective use of ICT.[3]
