Cowboy Monkey is restaurant and bar in downtown Champaign that features live music or a DJ almost every night of the week. Tuesday nights are an open-mic night, with all types of entertainment welcome: singing, spoken word, comedy or something in between. Wednesday nights feature salsa and tango dancing. Free trivia sessions take place on Sunday nights from 7:30-9:30pm.  Cowboy Monkey's kitchen is open nightly from 4-11 pm. The kitchen is open during Spring and features typical bar food with a Spanish spin. Individuals are welcome to rent the venue out for private parties.
