Geil Homestead Ltd. started around 1980 by planting herbs.  Not wanting to throw away the extra plants out of a packet of a hundred seeds, they potted all of the extras and started selling the surplus.  

Now, they primarily grow herbs but they sell a variety of other plants, including succulents, annuals, perennials, and water plants

They just built a new greenhouse and their business has grown significantly - this can be seen by the abundance of plants at their booth!

Geil Homestead Ltd. also sells aromatherapy oils and supplies, gardening books and hand-made crafts.

The owners have always made crafts in their free time, and as a result this portion of their booth has continued to grow over the years.
