Mary McKinley, 1983
Mrs. McKinley came to Champaign with her husband when he got a job on the Illinois Central railroad in 1923. She has worked as a maid, but was primarily a mother and housewife. She has also done church work at Salem Baptist Church. Her husband died on New Year's Day, 1969. They had been married for 64 years.
