Reboot: Pass the Message is a mixtape used in U of I courses at the graduate library and information science school and in African American studies.  Every track comments on some aspect of information technology. 

It was produced by U of I professor Abdul Alkalimat with artists from Toledo, Ohio where he was on the faculty of U of Toledo.  It was the collective product of a community informatics seminar he taught at the Murchison Center.  This community technology center was also the site of university service and research.
