Services and Support
- Champaign Urbana Public Health District's Maternal and Child Health Services department includes pregnancy and post-pregnancy services, pregnancy tests, help for teen parents, child safety seat information, illness screenings and immunizations, nutrition, and health care.
- Champaign Health Center offers pregnancy testing, birth control, abortion services, and other reproductive health services.
- Community Elements offers support and services for pregnant teens, teen moms and dads, as well as older parents.
- Head Start serves children from six weeks old to five years old, as well as pregnant mothers. Head Start helps prepare children for future success by addressing their cognitive, developmental, and educational needs, social and emotional needs, and health and nutritional needs.
- All Kids is a health insurance program for children living in Illinois. Pregnant women may also receive health care coverage. To apply, families must meet the income eligibility requirements.

Directories and Guides
- The Help Book Online is a directory of human and social services for Champaign County and includes information on local teen parenting resources. When searching through the Help Book Online, keywords such as Teen, Teen Parenting, Parenting, or Parenting Skills may be helpful.
- Pocket Resource Guide, created by the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, lists local health and human service agencies. Here you will find resources for financial help, health care, housing assistance and home repair, legal aid, employment, food services, child care, mental health, clothing and furniture, crisis and emergency, and information relevant to children, pregnant teens/women, and families. The Pocket Resource Guide is available in English and Spanish.
- The Champaign Public Library's list of community resources provides a number of helpful organizations that can assist with health care, housing, food, etc. Teen parents may want to look specifically under the links Health and Wellness, Financial and Legal, and Human and Social Services sections.
