The Community Music School

As the only not-for-profit community music school serving downstate Illinois,​ and partially funded by the Illinois Arts Council, The Conservatory of Central Illinois has a community-centered mission and offers individual and group instruction. Their Community Outreach programs have included programming for daycare centers, elementary schools, area senior citizens, and  community events.​ They also offer a music certificate program, an Early Childhood Music Program, and for over 20 years has led the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra (ECIYO).​
