Urbana Middle School is part of the Urbana School District 116 and serves grades 6 through 8.  The uses a teaching team structure where the students have the same set of teachers for their entire school year to help with the transitions time through middle school.  UMS has a after school program called “Students Playing and Learning After School Hours” it includes Boardway on Vine, LEGO Robotics, IMSA Fusion, and Urbana Dance.
