Embarcadero station is the northernmost BART station in San Francisco, it gives easy access to the Embarcadero Center as well as the Ferry Building.
On May 1, 2008 a new Peet's Coffee kiosk opened at the station. It offers a full range of Peet's drinks and baked goods. It is the first of eight Peet's Coffee kiosks set to open at Bart Stations. Other future locations will include Montgomery Station in May, Civic Center, Pittsburg/Bay Point, Daly City, and Downtown Berkeley.
