Fisherman's Wharf is one of several waterfront areas of San Francisco which Spans from Van Ness St. all the way to Kearney. Several cable car lines run through this area, as do the F Line street cars.
It is home to several colorful personalities such as The Bushman and Kenny the Klown. Street percussion performers often perform in this area, as do several sound-alike groups playing 'pipes of pan' to pre-recorded soundtracks.
Pier 39 which is extremely popular with Tourists, is centrally located within the Fisherman's Wharf area.
While Fisherman's Wharf is predominantly a tourist destination, the Musee Mecanique, Saigon Grill and several walk-up seafood shops stand out as excellent reasons to visit this crowded part of town with difficult parking. There is also an In-N-Out Burger.
