For Cryderman and her husband, Bob, also 67, the Michigan-Ohio rivalry is felt every day. They are among about 140 people who live on a 126.51-acre spit of land in the southeast corner of Monroe County, a sliver of Michigan soil that is accessible by land only if you drive about 2 miles through Ohio.
