This tech group was founded October 24, 2011 by Dan Paquette and Greg Miller. The group serves all web professionals with monthly tech meetings and visitations to other groups and events. Meetings are being planned for the second Wednesday of each month, although meetings dates and times vary due to scheduling.

April: April Meetup at Maumee Bay Brewing Co., Focus topic was for members to give presentations on CMS technologies. During the meeting new member requested help to build a website for the Lucas County Public Library, Read for Literacy project.

- (April 19) Refresh Detroit, "From Documents to Apps: Evolving the Open Web," Molly Holzschlag discusses the entire state of Web development/design. This trip also included a tour of the Madison Building, coordinated by Keith Instone.

- December: First Meetup - members participated in Tech Toledo's 2011 Year End Event at Tony Packo's. Greg Miller, coordinator of Toledo Geek Dinner (@ToledoGeeks) took over meeting coordination for all events in 2012, folding his network into Toledo Web Professionals Meetup.
